This cookie policy explains what cookies and similar tools lopes-tad.com uses, what each one does, and how to change your mind. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also treat similar storage (for example a first-party cookie that remembers a choice) the same way. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or social trackers on this site.
How we use them
Necessary cookies are always on: the site cannot remember your basket, your cookie choice or a staff sign-in without them. Analytics cookies load only after you accept. Marketing cookies are listed so the category is honest; we do not set any today.
Categories
| Category | What it does | When it runs |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Keeps the site working: cookie choice, shop basket, shop-preview unlock, staff admin session. | Always |
| Analytics | Dotwall usage tracker, so we can see which public pages are used. It does not identify you to us by name. | Only after you accept |
| Marketing | Reserved for a future advertising or remarketing tool. Nothing is loaded today. | Only after you accept — and only if we add a tool |
Cookies we set
| Name | Category | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| lopes_consent | Necessary | Stores whether you accepted analytics and marketing. | 6 months |
| lopes_basket | Necessary | Remembers items in the shop basket. | While you shop |
| lopes_shop_preview | Necessary | Lets the studio preview the shop while it is marked “coming soon”. | 30 days |
| lopes_admin / lopes_admin_lang | Necessary | Staff sign-in and admin language. Not set for ordinary visitors. | Session / as needed |
If you accept analytics we load a script from monitor.dotwall.co.uk (Dotwall). That provider may set its own first-party or provider cookie as part of the tracker. We do not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar marketing tags.
How to change your preferences
- Use Cookie settings in the footer of any public page. That reopens the same banner as the first visit.
- Choose Necessary only, Accept, or save a custom mix of analytics and marketing.
- Clearing site cookies in your browser also clears the choice; we will ask again next time.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking necessary cookies will break the basket and may sign staff out of admin. Analytics and marketing stay off until you accept, even if your browser allows cookies.
